Laureen Adams

With over 20 years of experience in education, I remain committed to providing support for leaders, teachers, and students toward liberatory education. Working in diverse settings (public, charter, district, and university), I have taught grades 6-12, and served as a lead teacher, teacher coach, curriculum designer, instructional coach, teacher educator, and administrator. My expertise and research interests include culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogies, teacher-student relationships, wellness, teacher education, teaching and culture, Black and Brown students, project based learning, critical race theory, arts education, and all things love and justice.
